Lake Wallenpaupack Lakefront
Lake Wallenpaupack, located in the heart of the Pocono Mountains, is 13 miles long, has 52 miles of shoreline and is about 60 feet at its maximum depth. It offers year-round recreation opportunities such as camping, fishing, boating and water-skiing.
PPL built Lake Wallenpaupack in 1926 as a hydroelectric project and the lake still serves as an important electric-generating facility in times of high electricity demand.
