#Waynetomorrow I have had the honor of serving on this committe for the last year. Please try to attend one of the interesting and informative meetings being held in various locations throughout the county.
The Wayne County Commissioners are excited to announce a series of “State of the County” Road Tours to be held in September, 2013. The Commissioners will present a citizens information forum as well as an update on the Wayne Tomorrow! initiative.
Wayne Tomorrow was started in 2012 as an initiative to help guide future development and enhance the quality of life in Wayne County. The project is designed to establish an inclusive process for on-going dialogue and create a shared vision that will build our communities. The initiative is using data and recommendations from the Wayne County 2010 Update of the Comprehensive Plan (WCCP) as a base point. As an outcome, the Commissioners, with the assistance of citizens and focus groups, will create an action plan for moving forward.
