Hey Y'all, It's Fall!

With cooler temperatures and shorter days, fall brings a new set of seasonal changes that may affect how potential buyers view your home. Here are a couple of tips to help you strategically welcome fall with open arms.

 Maintain Curb Appeal.

Monitor the outside of your home consistently since fallen leaves may make a home appear sloppy or unkempt. While you can certainly grab a rake or leaf blower and get to work, consider hiring a lawn care service to come by on a regular basis to take away debris when you’re not available.

Brighten the Space

Natural light becomes rarer as the days get shorter. Whenever possible, show your home with curtains pinned back to let in as much light as you can. Keep in mind, potential home buyers may be taking a look at your home during off hours, so invest in extra floor lamps to brighten up the area for those buyers looking in the evening. Make sure all the light bulbs are in working order!

Add Some Fall Color

As summer blooms fade, replace them with some pots of colorful chrysanthemums or a pile of artfully arranged pumpkins and colorful gourds. Make your home look loved!
