It's been a great week for Pocono real estate! I showed homes when it was 16 degrees outside, took a break the next day because of road conditions , then was out with the same couple the following day when we had a little warm spell - 25 degrees. Today I will be out with a different couple; it is 18 degrees outside.
A lesson to be learned here, my friends. Serious buyers are out looking at homes NOW. We missed seeing some great homes because the driveways weren't plowed, or the driveway was...Baby, it's cold outside! It was 22 degress and there were still several inches of snow on the ground when I was getting ready to come in to the office this morning. You are probably hesitant about putting your home on the market or keeping your home on the market in this kind of weather. You might be interested to know that March has traditionally been one of our top closing months. So that means, that YES, the truly serious buyers are out looking now - despite the snow and the low temperature...
