Sterling Industrial Park Named a Keystone Opportunity Expansion Zone

"The state Department of Community and Economic Development approved Sterling Business & Technology Park in Wayne County as a new Keystone Opportunity Expansion Zone. The designation enables qualifying businesses locating within the 252-acre business park to receive tax abatements on most State and local taxes through December 2023. Wayne Economic Development Corporation President Mary Ellen Bentler said the agency worked diligently on infrastructure and upfront permitting to ensure a quick development process for prospects, and she acknowledges that the KOEZ designation is a game-changer. Wayne County, Western Wayne School District and Sterling Township also had to sign off on the tax breaks."
